This year, 23 SJS students from across the music department qualified for All State—a record high in the School’s history. On Jan. 26, these students traveled to Richardson, Texas for a three-day convention.

On Jan. 27, junior Brayden Mi and other band members enjoyed a three-hour drive to All State in a suburban piloted by their director Nicholas Thomas; however, their journey to All State began months before.
Katina Christensen became the only person in St. John’s history to be admitted into TPSMEA Choral All State for all four years of Upper School on Nov. 9.
