Track Ten: Labyrinth

7/10

The lyrics of this song are not as catchy as some of the other songs, but the autotune added to this song is unique. The song reminds us of the feelings that one experiences after a breakup, emulating the pressure of when others believe that a person should “move on” but the person just can’t stop thinking about the one they love.

This feeling is emphasized when Swift sings, “You know how much I hate that everybody just expects me to bounce back—just like that.”

This song demonstrates how Swift can write and sing about any situation as if she has gone through it herself. “Labyrinth” may not be our favorite song, but it is so easy to relate to because of Swift’s beautiful voice.
