This highly anticipated song left us in shock. By the two-minute mark, we were already singing along to the catchy chorus. This song is guaranteed to get stuck in your head. 

When the first verse started, we thought the song would be a direct reflection of Swift’s reputation as a lyrical genius. Some of the lyrical choices in the song, however, made us want to remove “Anti-Hero” from the long list of her flawlessly written songs. 

All in all, the song’s tone was very unexpected, and we loved the surprise.

“Anti-Hero” dives deep into Swift’s feelings and can be relatable to others struggling with anxiety and depression. The lyrics are incredibly catchy yet deep.

Also, the song was predicted to go viral because Swift emphasized this song the most on her social media.
