Freshmen participate in on-campus orientation

The annual freshman retreat to Camp Lonehollow was cancelled due to COVID, but on Friday, Aug. 20, freshmen participated in an on-campus orientation. Senior counselors, peer leaders, and advisors led students in games and bonding activities. 
Junior Cici Calhoun passes the baton to senior Reese Ramirez in the 4x400m relay. The girls’ track and field team placed sixth in the SPC Championship on May 8.

This year, Halloween falls on the Saturday of Daylight Savings Time for an extra hour of festivities, and it's the first Halloween with a blue moon since 1944. Yet only 22% of St. John's students are celebrating, according to poll data from the Review Online.

On Oct. 26, seniors gathered on campus for the first-ever Senior Kinkaid Night. Hosted by the School, Senior Kinkaid Night allowed students to socialize on the Quad, Plaza and Great Lawn while appropriately distanced to replace the annual Homecoming Dance, which could not take place this year due to COVID-19. 
The field hockey seniors traded uniforms with Kinkaid players. They accessorized with patterned masks, leopard print and purple boas.
